TREE SECRETS TO WIN YOUR WEEK AND BE PRODUCTIVE AT WORK AND HOME
One of the reason I like sports is their performance planning, they train hard to meet the demand of their competition.
And here are three aspects I want to share with you which makes them to perform at the high peak and have a sustainable high performance under
intense competitive pressure.
1. TECHNIQUE: Is the ability with which an artist, writer, dancer, athlete, or the like employs the technical skills of a particular art or field of endeavor.
I have trained lot of athletes but for them to master their skills they ought to do it reapetedily until they perform it unconsciously.
So to all skills in every profession to be the best you need to spend hours to perfect your craft.
And any athletes who doesn’t spend time perfecting their skills, they always have anxiety before and during their game.
Same with the employees who doesn’t perfect their professional skills they always make lot of mistakes.
That is why is critical to develop our competition skills to increase our performance.
2. TACTICS: Is a specific action intended to get a particular result.
Sport people they design strategies to win their game, they assess the opponent strength, weakness, opportunity and threat before they go to challenge them.
This is also true with you, you need strategy to win your week. Without a proper plan maybe difficult to execute your tasks.
3. BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD: a drawing board is a tool used by artists or architects as a kind of table on which to draw their art on their plans. If their drawing or schematics failed, they would have to go back to the drawing board to make a new plan, starting fresh.
The term “back to drawing board” has been adopted by coaches after their match to go back and reflect on what went wrong, what went right, and what need to be improved.
Same in every profession high achievers they reflect daily, weekly, monthly and yearly to see what went wrong, what went well and what need to be improved.
I guarantee you if you can work on your skills, have a proper tactics for your tasks and reflect daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, you will increase your performance, have an enduring high performance and be productive at work and home.
